Oh, my. Here in the (for NC) deep freeze, the leaves shuttered on the acuba bushes, the lawn crackling with ice - spring will return! Thanks for this.
OK, here's an editor's POV. I would have chosen a spot with more color so the change of seasons (all four) were more noticeable. But... (the editor hesitates), the subtleties of this scene are intense and demand attention. It might just work.
