Yes, these are in my garden. We planted a few varieties, which is fun. (I've often wondered why I don't get volunteer sunflowers under my birdfeeder . . .)
Well, it seems the only way I can grow sunflowers is to let them sprout under the birdfeeders. I tried growing them last year... planted a couple of varieties, the red ones included, and nada.
