Ploughshares

According to Dan Wickett at Emerging Writers Network, Ploughshares has selected Ladette Randolph as the new Editor-in-Chief, a position that has been vacant since Don Lee's departure. Ploughshares is the top U.S. literary magazine by a mile, which must be both a blessing and a curse for Randolph. It will be interesting to see what, if anything, she changes.

I dont think Ploughshares is the top lit mag by a mile. It's way up there, but literally this classification 'by a mile' is too subjective.

I guess I could have been more specific about what I was referring to, but I go by my own, OBJECTIVE ranking system which is based on Pushcart Prizes and Special Mentions received since 2000, and on that list Ploughshares is in fact way ahead of all other magazines.

See: Pushcart Prize Ranking.
