Glasgow Prize

Shenandoah has announced that the 2007 Glasgow Prize has been awarded to Emily Rosko.
Emily Rosko of Columbia, Missouri has been named recipient of the 2007 Glasgow Prize for Emerging Writers, awarded annually by Shenandoah and Washington and Lee University, for her book Raw Goods Inventory (University of Iowa Press, 2006). Writers who have published one book of poetry were eligible for consideration for the $2,500 prize. Judge for the 2007 Glasgow Prize was Sarah Kennedy.
The 2008 Glasgow Prize will be awarded for a publsihed collection of short fiction. Check the website for submission guidelines.
