Bread Loaf

The Bread Loaf Writers' Conference begins this week on Wednesday. I'm not going this year. The last two years I'd have been making last second preparations before making the long drive to Vermont, but I decided not to go this year because I'm kind of workshopped out. That was a good decision, I think, but I still wish I were going. The environment is incredible, the people fun and interesting, and there's a special vibe that it is hard to come by. So over the next two weeks I'll be checking to see if anyone is blogging from Bread Loaf, as I did the last two years, mostly I'll try to make the most of my non-Bread Loaf time and get some good writing done.
