NovelMaker.com

I just learned about NovelMaker.com, a site recently launched. The idea seems to be that a writer can upload his/her creative work in several genres, including novel-length fiction, and solicit comments from the public. I haven't spent much time exploring the site and its functionality, but it seems a little too public to me at first glance. There are other more restricted online workshop sites, like Zoetrope.com that I have used, but you can't really workshop a novel there. I'll be interested in other reactions to the new site and to see what results it gets.

Clifford, Great to have your comment. NovelMaker.com provides a private or public forum for writers, readers, agents to engage in dialogue. If the author clicks on private when he registers only he or she can see the comments that have been made. Only the reviews and ratings are then public. We believe that most authors crave the reaction of readers to their work. NovelMaker.com is for serious authors and serious readers, no gimmicks and free. I hope that you and your friends will continue to explore the sites functionality as we add features. We love to have comments like yours and hope you will consider www.novelmaker.com as a venue for your writings. Sincerely,
