One nice thing that happened this week was the arrival of my contributor copies of The Ledge, No. 30, including my story "Saving Melissa." It's a terrific looking journal and I'm looking forward to reading the other work in this issue.
Another nice thing that happened is that Potomac Review accepted my story "Nicky, Natalia" one of a bunch of shortish short stories I wrote early this year. I've been trying to get into that magazine for some time and thought when they switched to an annual that it would be nearly impossible. So I'm very pleased about that and hope my schedule will allow me to get up to the DC area in the Fall for the launch party/reading.
