Who Are You?

You Are Who You Read, according to this post by Weston Ochse at a collaborative blog called Storytellers Unplugged. I like what he has to say about influences from early reading, and I think it's absolutely true. Apart from the Hardy Boys and the Chip Hilton series, I remember tackling (or trying to tackle) books way beyond reach. I'm afraid I do that as a writer, too, but that might be a different story . . .

I've never really been able to name the books I read as a kid. I want to give it some thought--know any good hypnotists?--and see what I come up with as the books that really influenced me.
