Sunday was quiet here as a number of fellows headed off to visit local sights--Charlottesville to the north, Lynchburg to the south (some folks went to services at Jerry Falwell's church, just for the experience of it). But I worked in my studio most of the day, including sketching out two stories. One is tentatively titled, "Time is Money," and the second one is "How the Zhang Boys Learn About Life on Planet Earth." I also planned out the story I'll work on tomorrow and made a dent in my work quota on the novel (which I knew I wouldn't be able to work on tonight because of a fellows reading).
After dinner, three fellows read: Ira Sukrungruang, Suzanne Wise and Dan Meltzer. The reading went on a bit longer than most of us expected, I think, but all three were quite good. Some of the visual artists are planning to display their work tomorrow afternoon, which I'm looking forward to.
