Contributor Copies

Because many literary magazines do not pay contributors, or pay very little, compensation (other than the cosmic variety) may only come in the form of contributors' copies. The arrival of those copies is cause for celebration and I recently received two batches. First to come was RE:AL Volume 31.1, Summer/Fall 2006, which contains my story "In an Uncharted Country." And yesterday I received Confluence, Volume 17, 2006, which contains my story "Stonewall." I'm delighted to see them both. RE:AL may at some point put my story online, but I'll be looking for an online reprint venue for the Confluence story, which has always been one of my favorites.
