National Book Awards
And speaking of awards, the National Book Award finalists were announced yesterday. Sadly, I haven't read any of the fiction nominees. Happily, I see that Peter Hessler is among the non-fiction nominees for his excellent book Oracle Bones. I imagine PeaceCorpsWriters.org is pleased about that.
