Bausch's Ten Commandments of Writing

Richard Bausch is a terrific teacher. At the Sewanee Writers' Conference in 2004 his craft lecture consisted of his Ten Commandments of Writing, which he has set forth in this essay: Letter to a Young Writer.

Good stuff, Cliff! He didn't give this talk per se this year at Sewanee, but the tone and content of what he said was much the same...what it asks of the writer, what the writer can expect, and how the results you influence are limited to what you actually do, what work you do, that day.

I'll post a link from my writer's journal when I make my next entry.
